Transplant Ministries...A Digital Revival.

I was surfing the internet today and downloading my favorite podcasts, discovering new ones when something hit me. Of all the periods in history, now is the greatest time to be a Christian. OK well maybe it doesn’t beat the time when you walked with Jesus, or when Paul was starting the first Churches, but you get the idea. Have you ever thought about what we have at our fingertips?

The internet has come along way over the past 3 years, it is changing all forms of media but more importantly it is changing Ministry. We have free video available at the click of a button. YouTube, Google Video, and a smorgasbord of Video Podcasts. It’s an all you can watch buffet. Sure there is ton’s of junk, more then we could ever count. However, have you thought about what types of Ministry resources are available online now?

We have the bible in almost any language, any version, ready to read, or be read to you. There are commentaries, dictionaries, concordances and comparisons and this is just on one site. (blueletterbible.org)

The greatest preachers in the world podcasts every sermon, appearance and bible study and give it to you every week for free. This includes, John Piper, RC Sproul, Ergun Caner, Jerry Falwell, Ray Comfort, and countless others.

Finally we have access to some of the greatest sermons ever preached available to read. Including Martin Luther, John Edwards, John Calvin, Charles Spurgeon, Paul Bunyan and C. S. Lewis.

People spend several years, and thousands of dollars going from Bible College to seminary. When all the information a Professor could teach you in 4 years is available for free, anytime you want.

I don’t think we realize what we have available. I think we take it for granted. There is no excuse for not knowing basic theology anymore. There no excuse for saying that your pastor, or your Sunday school teacher doesn’t feed you like you want. Get over it. Stop filling up your iPod with worldly music and videos and instead fill them up with sermon after sermon. If one preacher bores you, find another one. Welcome to the Internet. Welcome to Variety. Welcome to Massive Theological Education.

What’s going to happen over the next few years is going to amazing. Christians are going to be come more aware of this Internet Education and they are going to start feeding off of it. Over the next few generations, we are going to see some of the most talented, educated and balanced theologians the earth has ever seen…and they never went to a single seminary or sat in a single bible class.

Hopefully Transplant Ministries will have a part in this massive online revival. That’s what were about. Providing amazing media and quality video with a single message, broadcasting the message of Christ’s Perfection to all nations.

So over the next few weeks your going to see some changes, and new videos.

Were about to bring a whole new meaning to ministry, and it has nothing to do with emerging.

So sit back, relax… and most importantly Stay Tubed…

Right Now...

If you have ever had surgery...

you know the time when they place you in the bed and you roll down the long aisle as the swinging doors close behind you, you become aware that the Operation is about to take place...There is no turning back.

Transplant Ministries has reached that stage of the operation.

Now we need your help more before.

For those of you that have been activly persuing and involved in our ministry you know that I have been wasting time working in a low paying Retail Job, while developoing this ministry.

It came to a point where I had to make a decision of importance.

Which is more valuable. The Ministry or the paycheck.

For months I have been praying that God would just let this ministry break wide open. Have everything be given to me on a silver platter. I dreamed of the day I could quit my Job, and say...I am soryr I cannot work for you. God has Blessed me with my Ministry doing very well.

It never happened,

I was convicted.

I was Lazy.

I wsa fired from my retail job. My apathy was evident. I couldnt hide it.

God woke me up.

I will not be looking for another Job though. Transplant Ministries is now my Job of choice.

So as I sit here on vacation...(A Short one to gather my thought's) I am going to be putting every effort I have into this Ministry.

So pray for me.

Also please comment below and throw out any ideas as to plans to get this thing rolling.

Again, thanks for the prayer. PLease pray that God will use this to Glorify himself in such a fantastic way, the mind cannot comrehend.
